Action!

In my frequent breaks from animation here and there throughout the day I've recently been buffing up on my directing knowledge. An art in which I was previously clueless. Over the past couple weeks I've read both of Steven Katz books on the subject, Film Directing: Shot by Shot and Film Directing: Cinematic Motion. I can now whole-heartedly recommend them to you if you have not had the chance to delve into Mr. Katz's wisdom. Well worth the money as I'm sure I'll be coming back to these tomes for years to come. Take a gander, I think you'll learn a lot! :)

As for me, up next is Body Language by Julius Fast and In the Blink of an Eye by Walter Murch. I'll be sure to let you know what I think when I'm done. One day I'll be 40 and I'll have finally read every book on Carlos Baena's recommended reading page. ;)
